The suruay of London : containing the originall, antiquitie, encrease, and more moderne estate of the sayd famous citie : as also the rule and gouernment thereof (both ecclesiasticall and temporall) from time to time : with a briefe relation of all the memorable monuments and other especiall obseruations both in and about the same citie / written in the yeere 1598 by John Stow ... ; since then continued, corrected and much enlarged with many rare and worthy notes, both of venerable antiquity and later memorie, such as were neuer published before this present yeere 1618.

Penn Libraries Furness copy imperfect: leaf 3R4 wanting; leaf 2N5 mutilated at bottom outer corner with some loss of text and side-notes; some leaves closely cropped at top and fore-edge margins with occasional damage to running title and side-notes.
Penn Libraries Furness copy has ms. shelf mark in blue pencil on front pastedown; some ms. marginal marks in blue pencil; one ms. leaf of notes in pencil tipped in before leaf M4.
