On double leaves, oriental style (fukurotoji). Title page has phrase in Chinese: "Wang pu tian xia chuan fu yin yu wan min". "Translated by B.J. Bettelheim ... [who] appears to have made a version of the NT in the Luchu dialect. At the instance of the SPCK the Bishop of Victoria had Luke, John, Acts and Romans printed at Hongkong in 1855, at the expense of the Naval Mission. Printed from blocks.
