Sargent, Sarah C. Price, Camilla Scott, Anne P. Coffin, Joseph Holdich, and others. Includes original verse, proverbs, stories, pencil drawings, and watercolor miniatures. Works copied from Goldsmith, Moore, Cowper, Byron, Pope, and Madame de Staël, among others.
Includes a poem "Lines on the decease of Mrs. [Isabella] Graham," several poems titled "Woman" and "The excellence of woman," "Woman's tears," "Female piety," and "Advice to young ladies." Other poems are on "Friendship," "Childhood," "Happiness," parting and farewells, and religious themes.
