The whole being a series of very extraordinary and interesting events; and is interspers'd with characters and anecdotes of several of the French Nobility, and of persons either belov'd or detested for their virtues or vices. Written by herself, in her last illness. Translated from the French. To which are added, historical and biographical notes, by the translator. .
