He worked from the Delaware Indian glyphs appearing in a manuscript of Constantine Rafinesque's dated, 1833. The glyphs are cut in linoleum by Ruth Lingen and printed directly from the blocks. The printing is done at the Landlocked Press, situated on the isthmus of Madison, Wisconsin"--P. [5].
