Summary:
A posse of Texas Rangers is led into an ambush by the Butch Cavendish gang. Tonto, a friendly Indian, nurses the only survivor, John Reid, back to health. Wearing a black mask and shooting silver bullets, Reid becomes the Lone Ranger and, with Tonto, roams the old West fighting crime.
