- Two letters of Hernaman-Johnson to Roberts in 1919 concern a medical problem that Roberts's stepdaughter Naomi Hamlyn was having with her hands. In 1920, one letter concerns the publication of Roberts's paper on malignancy in the Archives of Radiology and Electrotherapy in March 1920; and another discusses scientific issues related to that paper. In the remaining letter, written in 1922, Hernaman-Johnson responds to further scientific queries from Roberts.
