The first number of a series of newsbooks published between Sept. 1624 and Dec.? 1628 by Thomas Archer, formerly member of a small group of publishers producing an earlier newsbook with which Archer is now competing; the series continues with Number 2, most numbers having unique titles (cf. Dahl).
This is the second issue of a newsbook of Sept. 9, 1624, with identical text and a new title and title page; the title page number is misprinted on both issues as "23"; the date of the first issue title page is: Septemb. 9. (Cf. Dahl, 390).
