Recognizances, Middlesex. Returns to orders of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 19th April 1821;--for (1.) Return of all fees paid to the clerk of the peace, or other officers, of the county of Middlesex, under the head of recognizances, for the last three years; specifying the total amount of each year, and the rule of court under which the same are demanded. (2.) Return of the amount of all fees, or payments of money demanded by the same officers, for forfeited recognizances, where the parties have been convicted and brought up for judgment. (3.) Return of the charge and total amount of all fees demanded and received by any of the officers at the Clerkenwell sessions, on bill of indictment, or on prosecution, from the prosecutors, or from the defendants. (4.) Return of the charge and amount demanded and received by the clerk of the peace, or other officers, for the registering and enrolment of benefit societies [electronic resource].
