Penn Libraries copy bound for Henning Wedden in 16th-century full blind-tooled parchment with his initials ("H W G" [for Henningus Weddenius Goslariensis]) and the date ("1587") stamped in black on left board; initials ("W S M V") and three floriate ornaments stamped in black on right board; blind-tooled spine panels; ms. title ("N. Frischlini Strigilis") in brown ink at head of spine; fore-edge flaps (each ca. 8 mm. in width); all edges stippled red and blue.
