Apparently the only contemporary Spanish American version of Common sense. The name of the translator is probably apocryphal. Another, apparently complete, version of Sentido comun as translated by the future president of Ecuador Vicente Rocafuerte (1783-1847) appeared in Philadelphia in 1821 as part of Rocafuerte's: Ideas necesarias á todo pueblo americano independiente, que quiera ser libre.
