Culture Class Collection copy has ms. ownership inscription ("Franz Gottfried Troile von ... A[nn]o] 1617"), possibly by Franz Gottfried Troilo (ca. 1583-ca. 1648), imperial chancellor and owner of an extensive Renaissance library, on title page.

Joseph Bergler the Younger (1753-1829) was a painter and author of numerous etchings; he was born in Salzburg and lived in Rome and later in Prague, where he served as the director of the Prague Academy.
