Hans and Gesche were married in Horn by its pastor, Franciscus Simon, in March 1639 (Gesche's father being then deceased). They had seven children: Catrina (1641-1641), Freuchte (1643-1677; she appears to have married a man surnamed Hardenseh), Hans (b. 1646), Anna (1648-1652), Peter (b. 1649), Jacob (b. 1654) and Casper (b. 1656).
