Part 1 consists entirely of plates, part 2 of "Panegyrici", including Leibniz's "Personalia", a poem addressed to the Duchess Sophie ("A son altesse sérénissime Sophie..."), and an "Epicedium", addressed to Ferdinand, bishop of Paderbom. Other contributions are by Hermann Barchaus, Giuseppe Bono da Diso, Heinrich Meibom, and J. Otto.
Plates are engraved by Johann Georg Lange, Robert Nanteuil and Jean Michelin.
