Summary:
18th-century text on the Pillars of Islam. The basmalah at the beginning is upside down (f. 1r). One bifolium or more may be missing from the center of the gathering, where the catchword does not appear to link to the text of the following page (f. 4v-5r).

Layout: Written in 19 long lines (f. 1v-3v) and 16-17 long lines (f. 4r-8v); frame-ruled in red ink at the beginning of the manuscript (f. 1v-3r). Catch phrases, lower left recto.
Script: Written in naskh script by the author (colophon, f. 8v).
Decoration: Simple headpiece and caption title (f. 1v), frame ruling (f. 1v-3r), significant words or phrases, and occasional overlining all in red ink.
Binding: Modern library cloth, Type 3.
Origin: Written in Taş Han Medresi, Tokat (Turkey), completed 9 Jumādá al-Ākhir 1171 A.H. (18 February 1758) (colophon, f. 8v).
Some water damage or staining at lower edge.
