Rabbi and poet of Tlemcen (in modern Algeria), whose writings are on halakhic topics, in verse; descendent of Rabbi Yehuda Kalatz, grandson of Rabbi Avraham ben Yaʻaḳov Gaviśon, disciple of Rabbi Shelomoh ben Tsemaḥ Duran.
Poem in four sections on the laws of theft according to the Rambam, written and signed by the author. Each section has a title referring to a specific law. Edges damaged with loss of text in the lower right corner and repaired with modern paper. The poem is written on the verso of the last leaf of a printed edition of the Sefer he-ʻArukh (Venice, 1553).
