"This is a non-commercial magazine of independent opinkon that truckles to nothing and nobody. It can exist without subsidy and even without advertising provided we don't have to sell out to the news stand distributing racket. The editors draw no salaries; they work for the pleasure it gives them. There is practically no overhead expense. If there are any profits they will be divided among contributors in the form of higher remuneration."
