Four printed ration cards pasted on a gilt-edged leaf dated 1871 belonging to Anna Rothschild of Paris, France. The cards were issued to Rothschild in February and March of 1871 by the mayor of the 5th arrondissement during the Franco-Prussian War. One ration card is for bread, one is for the butcher, and three cards are for the canteen. All the cards are stamped with a blue seal reading "Republique Francaise (Seine)."
