Summary:
Jirō Horikoshi, a young aircraft engineer who dreams of designing airplanes since he was a child, reunites with Nahoko whom he meets during the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake. Although Nahoko's health deteriorates, the two are soon engaged and determined to be together. With the encouragement of his wife, Jirō finally realizes his dream of building a beautiful aircraft. However, his "Zero", the most famous fighter aircraft in the history of Japan, is used as a weapon during World War II.
