Photographs of the unnamed diplomat and his family appear throughout the album. Written on the first leaf: Our arrival in Belize, Feb. 1940. The images display dignitaries, excursions, fishing, the Government house, horseback riding, military parades, parties, receptions, sailing, and staff. Also depicted are native Belize children and families. There are a few pictures of airplanes. Several photographs are taken at El Cayo, now San Ignacio. Inside front cover displays pasted on cutout message with a photograph reading: Best wishes from Phil. Some borders of the photographs appear to have been cut with pinking shears.
