In fact, its Ivorian division, which contains its only R&D center in Africa, brought in nearly $230 million in revenue last year. Today, the agri-business operates in 70 countries and supplies food and industrial raw materials to more than 16,200 customers worldwide. Mallikarjuna Kumaraswamy is Vice President and Business Head at Olam International. Zain Asher talks with Kumaraswamy about the challenges of keeping up with the global demand for the nut.
