Short film focusing on Leningrad and the struggle for peace as the city plays host to a party of foreign guests and friends of the Soviet Union. [WARNING: includes an image of a dead child.]. Footage includes an interview with a Finnish 'Peace Champion', workers, and members of a youth movement. There is also a brief scene depicting a rally for the Chilean people. Includes film of a speech by Mikhail Dudin concerning the vital importance of peace, and maintaining a defensive peace. He speaks on behalf of all Leningraders, whom he says know the importance, and price, of peace. There are also scenes of foreign diplomats visiting Leningrad to see for themselves how earnest the people are in their support for peace.
