True intelligence, and joyfull newes from Ludlow: : declaring a battell fought by his Excellency the Earle of Essex, against Prince Robert, Prince Maurice, and the rest of the cavaliers, neere Ludlow, October 1. 1642. Also the manner of the Earle of Essex his obtaining the victory, and putting the cavaliers to flight, and how he hath gained the castle, and strongly fortified the town of Ludlow.
