a| This work deals with the study of the figure of the ka server during the chronological period of the Old Kingdom. The ka server is revealed as a fundamental figure in the implementation of the funerary religion of the Old Kingdom. Its main role was to carry out the worship due to the deceased individuals guaranteeing their well-being through the presentation of offerings. Despite this being his primary character, his position as a member of the owner's kinship group also places him as an active part in the management of the deceased's property with the aim of guaranteeing the necessary products for funeral worship. This book examines the figure of the ka-servant during the chronological period of the Old Kingdom (Third to Sixth Dynasties).
